    Unable to play online with 14-day trial XBOX Live Gold


    Pretty self explanetory I guess, activated the code that came with my freshly bought console and I activated it for the sole purpouse to get the Porsche 918 in the Halloween Forzathon, but i found myself unable to play online. This
    is not limited to FH3 i just posted it here because it is the most relevant game in my case. The code I entered was not false, I can download and play Free with Gold games and it also appears in my memberships, yet I cannot play online. Can somebody enlighten
    me because it seems I clearly missed something

    Xbox gold and cant play gta online

    Sounds like you are using a 14 day trial.

    Some games will not let you play online with a trial,you would need a full gold membership.

    Trials only give you limited access to some xbox live gold features.

    Hello guys,

    yesterday I activated my 14-day-trial of Xbox Live Gold I got from Halo 4, but today I discovered that you can't play with more than one player on the same console online. That's why I bought a normal 1-month-gold-membership, but my xbox still acts like I have
    the 14-day-trial. Does the regular membership only get activated when the trial is over? Do I have to wait 14 days to play online with friends again or is there a way to somehow deactivate the trial? Someone please help me!

    Hello Cianka,

    that is why unable to get the backward compatible games. They will not work with the 14 day trial unfortunately. In this link

    describing Xbox live gold     there is a section explains the trials.

    With an Xbox Live Gold 2- to 14-day trial, you can get Xbox One Games with Gold, and discounted Gold deals.

    If it was a one month trial you could get the backward compatible games.

    For new Microsoft/Xbox accounts, if xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes could be used/sold as xbox game pass 14 days trial codes or xbox live gold 14 days trial codes?

    Because a 'xbox games pass ultimate 14 days trial code' equals a 'xbox game pass 14 days trial code + xbox live gold 14 days trial code', so for new Microsoft/Xbox accounts, a 'xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes' could be used/sold as 'xbox game
    pass 14 days trial code' or 'xbox gold live 14 days trial code' , right?

    The 14 day trial doesn't give you the "full" gold benefits.

    Some games can't be played online with a 14 day trial card.
