Unable to play Online EA Games

When i try that it comes up with unable to connect to EA servers meaning i cant play ea games online for what ever reason

Nope, because its the EA servers. I have never had problems with EA games till now, the amount of times I have been unable to connect/play online in the last few days is ridiculous.

You still need a Xbox Live Gold account to play online, EA games or not. EA online pass codes are included in new EA games to allow you purchase extra online content, it doesn't allow you play online on Live without a Gold account.

What online features will work if I don’t subscribe to Xbox LIVE Gold?

You will be able to enjoy all the offline content of your game and will be able to download other items from the in-game store. You will be unable to play multiplayer online game modes or use your downloaded content in online game modes.

Thank god I am not the only one with this problem. I have been playing BF Bad Company 2 online for over a year now without a problem. But since a week or 2 I am unable to connect to EA online most of the time. And to be honest, I have this with ANY other
EA game I have tried lately. FIFA 11, NHL,... All worked fine until just a week or 2 ago. All same problem: can't connect to EA servers/EA Online... And so far, I have got no information if the servers are down or not.

I can play any other game that is not made or published by EA just fine. So the problem is not to be found here but at EA.

Hey there Kernen! I understand that you are having trouble playing BF3 on LIVE. Do you get completely disconnected from LIVE when you try to play this game, or are you just unable to connect to the servers? Also, can you confirm that you have the Online
Pass required by EA to play this game online? It sounds like you might be borrowing this disc from someone. If that is the case, you can buy a Pass from EA or in-game for 800 MSP. Let me know if this helps, thanks!
