Unable to play minesweeper.... only stopped working today

hi, i've been playing minecraft regularly for months, but today it wouldn't start up.

i get the minesweeper screen but it just stays there.

i rebooted my surface still problem persists.

i deleted the game and now it won't even reinstall

i get error message when installation fails.."try again"

i own a surface tablet 8.1

never had any problems before

Stylus on tablet stopped working for mines and flags on last update

Add one more. My stylus stopped working on the minesweeper game board. Finger taps still work. The stylus works everywhere else. Looking forward to the fix! Miss the stylus in Minesweeper!

Sorry to hear about this. Which model Surface are you playing on? Can you give the full error message details?

 

I am having the same issue, started on the same day as the original poster (2/16). I never tried to uninstall/reinstall, so I haven't seen any error messages, but Minesweeper never gets past the splash screen. I am using a Surface Pro running Windows 8.1
Pro. I have checked for all updates both to the Surface and to Minesweeper, but it is still not running.

Usually a full restart of your computer should fix this, have you tried that yet?
