Unable to Play Mahjong for about a month now

Can someone please help me. I have not been able to play the Mahjong for about a month. The change happened when ms introduced it's adds onto the games. Since then when I click on the Mahjong icon it goes to log in to xbox live and sign's me in, then
it turns around and flips me back to the menu page and no Mahjong.

I have tried using the error tool and to no effect.

I have uninstalled and re installed.

I am at the point of giving up and uninstalling for good.

Does anyone have a fix for this.

can't play Microsoft Mahjong

I have already downloaded Microsoft Mahjong months ago and now I can't play the game. I also can not get to the store. I get to the Microsoft Solitaire just fine.

I also downloaded the Jigsaw and now am unable to play that game.

What is the problem? Help

That happens to me as well.

I've had something similar with the Solitaire Collection as well but the last Windows 10 update fixed that.

I've gone to the Windows Chat and paid to have them go over my computer remotely, which reassures me that there's nothing wrong with my computer. But Mahjong is still cutting out on me. I'm hoping that - eventually - there'll be another Windows 10 update
that will fix this as well.

 

Can you try uninstalling and reinstalling Mahjong? As long as the last time you played you were connected to the Internet your game save is backed up to the cloud and you'll not lose any progress.

We've both obviously tried that several times.

 

Sorry I'm back from doing that here is the go.

Firstly I uninstalled the Mahjong, then I uninstalled the Microsoft Solitaire Collection. Restarted the computer, then re installed the Microsoft Solitaire Collection and re installed the Mahjong.

Went in to play the Mining one, that worked fine, then went to Mahjong and it went to sign in, signs me in and then the screen disappears. Funnily enough it registers on xbox live that I have played to which I hadn't and has I noted previously it was doing
that too.

I really wish this could get sorted. Seems there are a lot of people with the same problem.

Same problem here. Working fine under Win 8.1, then I upgraded to Win 10 two days ago, and since then no Mahjong. It starts, begins to log me in to Xbox then the screen just vanishes.

Rather ironic the only thing that has given a problem with the Win 10 upgrade is one of Microsoft's own pieces of software!

I have run the Modern UI App Troubleshooter which brought up an error: "Service registration is missing or corrupt". As per instructions I've stopped and restarted the following services: BITS, Com+ Event System, Remote Procedure Call and Remote Procedure
Call Locator..

I have also uninstalled Mahjong and reinstalled. Still no joy.

Solitaire Collection works fine, just Mahjong that's the problem.

 

I have a little different problem... I cannot get them to download and install... I am trying to get Mahjong and Treasure running on my Surface Pro 4... When I try to download them to install from the store, the store says it is trying to acquire the license
and then says 'try that again something went wrong' and returns 'error code 0x803F7000, in case you need it'... Any thoughts?.... Thanks..............
