    Hello,

    We have a new Xbox one. I have setup myself (adult) and my two kids (teens) (family account)

    We have a normal Xbox Live account and a Xbox pass all seem to work.

    But when we try to play a game that was bought under one of my sons it tells us to login the account.

    Is there a way to bypass that. My understanding is that if we have xbox with live with pass under one box and its set to home

    we can play whatever game

    Hi Hellsan,

    With the setup you say you have on the Home console the game should be playable with all the accounts on Xbox.

    At this point you may want to contact Xbox support and have someone look over the accounts and see if they can help you. We've already provided the important information for this situation. There may be something wrong with the license. Also check the order
    history of your son's account for the complete order of the game.

    Hi there,

    If all of the accounts are set to home then it's possible there may be one other account this game was purchased on. I suggest checking the order history and game section on all of your accounts on the Xbox.


    Then, go ahead and do a
    hard reset and power cycle
    . Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 2-3 minutes. Then re-connect and
    turn on the Xbox.

    You may looking at a wrong setting when you said both sons have it set as home. Ideally you would want the parent account to have the system as their Home Xbox in the Console settings. Then the Gold amd GamePass on your account will let whoever signs in
    on the Xbox play. Your account has to download the games though.

    If you have one if the kids purchase content on their account then they need to chamge the console to their Home Xbox to let others play. Keep in mind a console can only change Home Xbox settings a few times a year and then locks.
