    Hi,

    I have just bought xbox one s , I installed new games on my console but I am unable to play games without the disc it showing error .I have bought all games and installed on the console it should run on xbox one s without inserting the game disc?

    Kindly suggest why it’’s happening.

    I would like to know if there is a way to play Xbox one games without the disk after inserting the disk only once?

    Downloaded games won't play without disk...why?

    it starts the disk to make sure you have the game. then after that it will play off the hard drive.

    if microsoft let you play games from the hard drive without having the disk then everyone would borrow or rent games just to istall them without buying them lol.

    You can after the install

    You are going to find it very very hard to get games that play off disks without and internet install

    Disks can't keep up with the media today

    After you uninstall the game, Try clearing your cache before reinstalling it. Or, try playing without the disk installed. GOOD LUCK!!

    Ye its always signed into live with good wire connection. Also after being on for an hour or so nothing will install from disc or ready to install list just says instaltion stopped constantly if i resume. Also will not let me save on certain games when
    its been on for same time period.
