Unable to play game online due to reputation

I have today bought the new COD WWII, a new controller and a years Xbox Live Gold.

I can't remember the last time I played Xbox - easily 6 months ago.

Somebody who isn't me got a ban on the account at the start of the year. I complained about this at the time stating it wasn't me engaging in poor voice comms and assured all that it wouldn't happen again. Nothing changed, "decision upheld" was listed on
    the suspension.

I cannot play this new game online. I sit in lobbies only. Occasionally a single player marked "reputation avoid me" will appear, and often drop out. NEVER enough to get a game going.

So it looks like I've spent a lot of money for nothing.

Tried a live chat with support and they claimed there was nothing they could do and it is down to the enforcement team. Does anybody have any idea of what I do now?

    :)

  2. Bad reputation

I am unable to play online due to bad reputation as I've been told by Microsoft support by dhafney A. The reporting system on Xbox one is flawed.

    xbox live membership limitation

I am unable to play head to head in madden 15 due to a "membership limitation" in which I have recently been informed may be due to my current xbox live reputation. I am trying to improve it and be able to play online again.

    Thank you for the response.

Yes, I have visited that link. However I am unable to play in order to do anything? I am just sitting in the lobby of the new COD WWII and "expanding search" / "possible lobbies found" just rotate. Occasionaly a player marked "avoid me" will enter, but soon
drop out. For over 24 hours this has been the case.

Interestingly, people have been reporting the account in November, but you'll note I haven't played the Xbox in months, and as stated a new Live account was purchased (which should prove to the Xbox team I haven't been online). This account seems to have
    been targeted.

I wrote to Xbox support way back in February but nothing was done. Finally there is a game I want to play - I have spent a lot of money yesterday - and there is nothing I can do. How can I go about somebody looking into the account and resetting things?

It is worth noting that I have just loaded COD Infinite Warfare and it loaded a match straight away. Something is very wrong here and it isn't fair considering the money I spent yesterday after making some spare time available to have some fun.

Unable to play game online due to reputation

Thanks for responding again - the issue is how can I improve a reputation if I cannot play a game? And why is it only this new game is effected? How is it I am being reported when I am not even playing the game? There is a bigger issue here that isn't covered
    by a stock answer.

  9. You're reputation is based on all of your games not just one game in particular so it should be affecting all of your games not just the one new game.

Yes, which is why this is a very odd situation. My friend invited me into his game and I was able to play fine last night. However I cannot join any game on my own, on COD WWII. After spending a lot of money on this, after flagging abuse on the report system
(reports at a time I had no Live membership, thus, not playing), compounded with the fact the abuse reports were reported in Februrary as not being me... this has all left a bad taste in my mouth and the customer experience from Microsoft has been non existent.

The best way to improve your rep is by playing the free mmo's like Neverwinter,Star Trek Online,World of Tanks etc.

Support can do nothing about your rep.You are the only one that can improve your rep.

If you really haven't been online for 6 months then your rep would of been in avoid me before you stopped playing.

Any report filed within that 6 month period would not have any effect on your rep if you hadn't been online.

Yeah, I play games for like 20 mins a time when I get a spare moment. The idea that I'd start playing random free games in order to play the £100 content I just paid for is laughable. I'll be returning the game tomorrow, this is a sorry joke which I want
no part of. Playstation next time round methinks.
