    Unable to play due to trail version


    I recently went back to play destiny and bought the rise of iron expansion, and installed the game however it says it is the trail version and I am now locked out of all content related to the game. The base game is no longer to buy either so I am stuck
    with an unplayable game. Is there a fix for this or will I have to pay for the entire collection and rebuy all the dlc after spending well over £100 already?

    Sorry to hear it. In order to play the DLC you would need to purchase the base game. If you have all the DLC but not the base game you have two choices.

    1. Purchase the Collection which comes with all DLC in order to play the game

    2. Purchase the base game from your local video game retailer (disc version). When you have the disc in your console you'll be good to go.

    If you only have the Rise of Iron expansion then you can try contacting phone support to see if they can issue a refund so you can purchase the collection. Please click this link to get the number for your region Customer Support

    I'm not sure where you bought it... my guess is it's hung up on some trials files.

    • Occasionally the data or files in a Destiny installation can become corrupted, partially overwritten, or otherwise no longer work as intended.
    • If this happens it can cause the console and Destiny to have issues maintaining connectivity, loading some game files, or other gameplay issues.
    • Reinstalling the game removes the data and files from the console and allows a fresh set to be downloaded and stored.

    Some common issues that may be resolved by reinstalling Destiny are:

    • Stuck on a frozen or indefinite loading screen
    • Encountering a consistent crash in the game

    • Getting stuck in Trial Mode due to not deleting the Trial Mode completely before purchasing the full game

    I got a game disc, but it says “Trial” under it

    This will be the full game if you had installed the trail version before hand this issues happens a lot with games that let u play trails its just a glitch in their coding* try uninstalling the trail before installing the game if u want to get rid of the

    Off-Road Anyone?

    The off-road version is slower than the stock version, but seems to climb better. I have both the one with a top and without. I going to play around with the different mods to see what is better for running off-road trails. I might be hurting myself by maxing
    out acceleration when it comes to steep climbs. I've always been a huge Jeep fanboy and was upset that the stock Mesa couldn't be modded. Finding the Merryweather version was awesome! The Sandking XL will have some trouble getting up some of the more narrow
    trails due to it's length. Don't get me wrong, it's a bad looking truck.

    Hello, are you still playing under a trial download? Make sure the trail version is deleted and you are actually playing from the full brought game download.
