    I apparently got the new update preview program. The update started this morning when I got on, was able to play my game (Destiny) which I had previously downloaded from the store some months ago. I went to work, came home and went to play destiny again.
    I was then sent a message stating I needed to insert a disk or download the game from the store. I called support, and one guy had me uninstall the WHOLE game and dlc. Then reinstall. I did. After it reinstalled it is nowhere to be found on my console, yet
    in the store it says it is installed. The supervisor then told me to go online and go to the preview forums to report the problem cause it is out of there hands. Well the preview forums are unavailable (Says "group not found"). Am currently speaking online
    with a representative who sent me this link to report my problem. I need to know that this situation is at least being handled and when I can be awarded back my game and time I paid for without being able to play my game online.

    Oh right that's news to me, I always thought the purchasing tag did need to be on the console because the licences are tied to it as well as the console.

    Obviously I am wrong though so apologies OP.

    But as the OP has already said he is definitely using the same console as he purchased the DLC on what else could cause this DC?.

    Unable to play downloaded games on my new profile

    The purchasing account does not need to be on the console providing the correct licenses are in place. I could delete from my console and still be able to use the DLC purchased with other accounts.



    I suggest following Temhotabot's advice and doing the license migration, as it sounds like that the console you are on is not the one the account was on when the DLC was purchased.

    I'm in the preview and had the same message a few times even though my copy of Destiny is on disc.

    Unfortunately, nobody here works for MS. We're just a bunch of people with shared interests so we can't give an official reply.

    If it is a disc copy of a game then eject the disc and put it back in. Also, check to make sure that you have the latest update to the NXE because they pushed one out to preview members in the NXE yesterday. The update is supposed to fix the issues you
    speak of. I was having the same problems with Elder Scrolls Online and that fixed it.

    Appreciate the info guys, and it's not a disk copy I downloaded all from store, which I feel may be the problem. Crappy part is that the support on the phone didn't know what he was doing and had me uninstall the whole thing, now it's no where to be found.
    Online support told me to go here, but I'll post this same problem in the link you provided. Thanks.

    If you've downloaded it before it should be in "my games & apps".

    It'll be on the far right but may take a minute to appear.

    I thought so too, but it isn't. If I scroll to the right just has an otion to go to Xbox store. I did have the game previously before the support told me to uninstall it. And the Xbox store registers that I have it installed. The my games and apps doesn't
    register I have it though.
