Unable to play co op on the division 2

Ok so heres my issue after completing the warlords of new york expansion on division 2 im unable to invite or join other players my nat type is open i have no trouble shoot errors annits only on my main character that i want to play on i can see other players
in the social area an my friends tell me when they try an join me that it says on the xbox xbox menu that im in the main menu of the game an the invite/join buttons are greyed out and say cannot join lical players or friend is currently not joinable id id
l to keep playing with my friends but im stuck at an impasse i paid for the dlc an im not game sharing so what might be the issue

Did you see my edit above? Also, were you able to matchmake in other games?

This sounds like a Division 2 error more than Xbox. Have you asked any of the Division communities?

Do you have problems matchmaking in other games?

Edit: a little research tells me that players can't join on you if you are still in NY. You need to travel back to DC if that is where they are. Could this be your issue?

I wish i had more insight for you. Considering matchmaking works in other games for you, then i can only assume that this is a Division2 issue. I would test with you if i could, but i do not have WoNY yet.

I did see the edit an im in Washington freeroam an i can matchmake an play every other game but division this is what i get upon tryin to load my character

You can still play with people who have/dont the expansion you just cant go to nyc

You are absolutely correct. I was thinking from a more technical background and testing all possibilities which would require me to have WoNY.
