Unable to play Battlefield 1942

When i attempt to play the game i get the following message:
“Your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access xbox live functionality”
My DoB is listed on my profile and im in my thirties. I have an XBOX Gold subscription. My privacy is set to adult defaults. Can anyone help?

It’s fixed - Looks like it was an issue with the gold subscription taking a while to register properly after the code being successfuly applied , but it may have been fixed by clearing the MAC address in settings

Hi there,

Something else you can try...

Remove your profile from the console (make sure you know all the account login information you will need it later).
Do a full power cycle of the console as described here.
Wait at least 60 seconds before powering it back on
Re-download your account to the console

Make sure you are logging into the correct profile with the Live subscription.
