Unable to play any xbox games - console not connecting to xbox network

Hi,

Approximately 3-4 weeks ago my xbox stopped working. I'm not able to play any games. Upon testing the connectivity using the "Test multiplayer connection" under the network settings, I get a network NAT type unavailable error.

I have tried all the steps documented under here:

I have manually added the port forwarding rules to my router, but this still does not work.

When I disable my firewall on my router, it works ok. That suggests some port may be missing in the list of ports that xbox uses or there are some other settings I need to be changing.

Any ideas? Its been going on for weeks

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Seems like the issue that you're experiencing is an issue with your network connection itself.

It's a good thing that you have already added the ports required. In this case, the best option is to reach out to your Internet Service Provider as there may be a setting that may be blocking your gaming experience that can be managed on their end.

Hey Mate 93,

Thank you for responding. Have you been able to play other original Xbox games? Even if the disc was a sealed copy, there is a possibility of it being the reason behind this. If you are unable to play any OG Xbox games, there may be something going on with
the console's connection to your network or it's firmware. Hope to hear back form you soon.
