Unable to play a game I bought

I recently got an Xbox one s and took advantage of the free gamepass. I happened to install Minecraft and had a lot of fun with it. When the game pass was hours from timing out I bought the game so I could keep playing it. Now a few days later and I get
the error code 0x803f800e even though I BOUGHT the game. I tried resetting the console you know the 10 second hold and will try it again later but are there any tips from other people who have had this happen. Could you ever play the game again or did you
have to keep buying game pass to play a game you already own?

It sounds like it is still trying to run the Game Pass copy. I hade the same issue with Forza Horizon 4. Uninstall the game, reboot the console then go to My Games > Ready to Install and redownload/install the purchased game.

Might be more of a licensing issue with the Xbox getting confused. Try reinstalling the game.
