Unable to open XB1 SmartGlass

Starting today I cannot connect to my XB1 using Smart Glass. I've tried from my Windows Phone, my Surface 2 and, my laptop. In all cases the app brings up the splash screen for a moment and then it disappears. No error message or anything. I've tried uninstalling
and re-installing Smart Glass, restarting the XB1. No joy.

 

There is somekind of bug within the app that causes this crash.

It has to do with the year 2015.

Try setting your systemdate back to a random date in 2014 and your Smartglass app will boot fine!

Guess we will have to wait for a fix or update from Microsoft concering this bug.

The app on my phone is fixed however the desktop app is still crashing.

 

For me it still opening to the green screen and then it closes, on my windows 8 tablet, the Xbox live status page did have the issue, but now it dose not say any thing about, and I am still getting this error

Hey, my SmartGlass stopped working with my IPhone and my IPad. I reset my router and XB1 and that didn't work. Any ideas?
