    Unable to open anything on Dashboard


    After the most recent update I am unable to open anything on my Xbox.

    The button press animation shows when I click on things, but no action is taken. The guide will pop open but unable to select anything.

    I got it to work last night by having a friend invite me to party, which once joined (using xbox button) seemed to unlock the rest of the console for use.

    I can't even report using the 'report a problem' feature on the console as it won't open when pressed.

    A weird bug - anyone experienced/have a fix?

    Hi, it is a know issue with the app, if you visit the preview forums apps section there are several threads regarding the app crashing. It is being worked on and until it's fixed there's nothing to be done but wait.

    This worked for me too. I was unable to select anything through dashboard, voice, or anything except for the Sign In. But it would just give me an error every time I tried. Thank you!

    Support is unable to do anything about this. What you have to do is use the dashboard reporting tool to report the gamertag that you believe is doing this. One of the PET members will review it and take the appropriate steps.
