Unable to move games to my HDD

My games won't download or move to my Hard Drive, I've tried downloading games to my SSD and they work there although it comes up with an error when trying to download or move them to my Hard Drive and since I have a lot more space on my HDD I really need to download my games there. My HDD is already on the NTFS format, I have already tried updating the Xbox app and everything that needs an update on the Microsoft store, as well as repairing and resetting the Xbox app. Weirdly enough, I only have this issue with the Xbox app and no other launchers like Steam or Epic Games.

Please double check the next:
Open Windows settings > system > storage > advance storage options (only Windows 11) > where new content is saved > under Apps select your D: drive. Then restart the PC and verify if you can finally select the drive to install games

If maybe you already tried that, may I know if you already tried reinstalling Gaming Services using powershell command?

Press Windows key + X and then select Windows PowerShell (Admin).

Type or copy / past the following command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage -allusers

Restart the PC and Open the Xbox application.

A blue notification with the following message is going to appear at the bottom:
"This app needs an extra component. Gaming Services is needed for playing some games. Administrator approval required. Install"

Select Install to reinstall Gaming Services, once installed check again

Just going to repost as well that whenever it does this, I am unable to either move / delete my profile.

Since it occurs on both my HDD and USB though, I'm guessing it's just a system bug, or that my profile is just completely glitched?

Thank you. This was one of the troubleshoots I did but to no avail.

I have since plugged the HDD into my old console and was recognised straight away, so was able to format it. Plugged HDD back into Series X and was recognised straight away. I moved a game across to HDD but it didn't load, so moved it back to the console internal storage where it worked.

Loading new game to HDD and will try moving and rebooting to see if it works.

Games update on the drive they're installed on. You'll have the option to move games between the internal HDD and external HDDs. By default, moving a game moves all of its associated files.

but to copy the game from the new HDD you need a profile, and i dont know if i can move a secondary offline profile to a usb, move the games over and be able to use them with my main profile.

and its a new HDD that i used with my ethernet cable unplugged so i dont think there is an owner.

and its the TOP style of HDD.
