Unable to make purchases on Xbox One (Error # PBR9002) and the void of Xbox Advocacy Team ...

Hello, I have been in contact with support regarding this issue since December 5th, but it still has not been resolved. I have clocked in a total of 6 hrs 2 mins and 30 secs with phone support, many chat support sessions, tweets, and emails. On the last
email from support, I was told by the Xbox Advocacy Team on the 28th (5 days ago):

PBR9002 Your purchase can’t be completed with this payment option. Try a different or new way to pay

I have been unable to make purchases on xbox.com, my xbox one or when attempting a purchase of a Office live 365 subscription for over a month. How can I resolve this error? I have spend over 3 hours with tech support and I cannot get my issue escalated.

The error message is:

"Your purchase can’t be completed with this payment option. Try a different or new way to pay" and the code is PBR9002

Got the same error code PBR9002 when try to purchase game on xbox one via paypal.

I've been going back and forth since Dec. 10th

 

Same here. Worst part is everything was working fine until someone in billing charged my account for a Live Gold membership I had already paid for through a prepaid card. They agreed that I shouldn't have been billed,removed the charge - but in the process
somehow cancelled my prepaid membership! So they gave me a new code to reactivate my Gold membership,but now my account is locked,can't redeem codes,make purchases,nothing. Weeks later and hours on the phone,and they still can't figure out what they did to
make such a mess of things.

 

I faced a similar situation... I finally got an email from advocacy team this morning stating everything is fixed and a code for a month of live gold. No mention of what they did to fix it. The email said to wait 24-48hrs, so like a good little sheep, I
am gonna wait till Monday to try making a purchase. I was looking back at past emails from advocacy team, and this is the 3rd email I have gotten telling me the issue was resolved and to wait 48hrs and try again. They then told me to wait until the products
team investigates my issue. No email stating they finished the investigation and what they found. A month of me, trying to give Microsoft money... Well will see come Monday.
