Unable to login to my Xbox

To put the situation to you plain and simply, my little brother and I have been trying to log into our Xbox Ones, but as of recently we get prompted to enter our password. This isn't the traditional grey coloured screen though, it's a white screen that says
"you're attempting to access sensitive data, I forget the rest".

So everytime we put in our passwords, we get an error message saying "There was a problem, and we could not continue. (0x80a4001a)"

So we basically can't play our Xboxs simply because we can't login our accounts. Now I don't know if you guys have just updated it or something, but this certainly has never happened before, and has only been occurring for the past week. If this is the result
of an update or something, please tell me that you guys are working on this issue, because I'm clearly not the only one having this issue, and I don't understand what the Xbox support is telling me to do, because
'I shouldn't have to reset my entire Xbox, account and all, just because of one little flaw'.

Please get back to me soon and please tell me that you have people addressing this issue, the timing could not be worse since I have a few things coming up that require my Xbox.

Unable to login...

I am attempting to log in to xbox (to access netflix) but I am told "unable to login because microsoft account is associated with another profile"...

apparently I have another profile somewhere that is associated with my account but what is it, and how do I delete it?

I had the same problem. Now I believe the password problem is fixed but it is now saying "Sorry there was a problem, please try again later error 80151103". NO XBOX LIVE!!! It's really pissing me off. Microsoft better be ready for some restitution because
I pay good money for this!!!

 

Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account

Have you tried powercycle your xbox that might help but don't know if the new update messed up the login screen because i hav no issue with it

 

you have to delete your acc hard reset xbox and re add acc it should work

 

If powercycling is holding the button for ten seconds and then turning it back on, it hasn't worked recently. It worked once or twice but now it doesn't seem to work at all.

 

Does removing my account remove all my game saves?

 

Same dude, but my other account on the same xbox logs in just fine. Different bright white sign in screen as well. Just happened today.

 

Try these steps Go to Settings > Account > Remove Accounts. Once done power cycle the console, reboot the console and add your account.
