Unable to log into Xbox account with new primary alias.

Now that you have already added a new alias, kindly make it your primary alias by performing these steps sign in to https://account.microsoft.com and then fo to "Your Info" and click on " Make primary" next to the alias you want to set as your primary email address.

So that next time you sign into the account you will be using the new email or the primary alias you have set up on the account.

I think now i understand the problem of toxxicity.

You have set a mail adress of your provider as primary mail adress whith which one you are logging in at your Xbox or at xbox.com. Right?

The mail adress is the primary alias of the microsoft account and can be changed at

account.live.com .

You can create there a new alias adress and set it as your primary alias.

With this new primary alias you are able to log on at the Xbox One, xbox.com or other services of Microsoft.

resetting the password, you can use our support article. Once you have logged in to that account, you can change the primary alias for it. After you have set up a new primary alias on that account, you can remove the email that you want from it. At that
point, you can go ahead and use that email address as the primary alias of your main account. Be sure to let us know the results!

The easiest way that I have always done this is to go to
http://account.live.com and add an alias to account. If you set the alias as a Primary Alias all emails from xbox will go to that new Primary Alias.
