    Unable to log-in to my Xbox account


    I've been locked out of my Xbox account for some time now and haven't really bothered to do anything about it because I moved to PS4 but recently I decided to give Xbox a go again because I missed Halo. So I changed my microsoft account password hoping
    that would help but each time I put in my password it tells me to use "Your microsoft account password" which I am doing... So I had a look around to see if anyone else had been having these problems and found that if I delete my account from
    the xbox and re-add it then try again it should work, I did that and nothing changed, it still tells me that I am using the wrong password despite it working on desktop. Please help I'm losing my mind here trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

    Make sure that no one else has your account or is logged into it when u attempt to sign in. Hope this helps

    SunkNath has offered some good advice. I'd also like to add that when you are able to access the account again, you should take a few minutes to update your personal information, contact information, and password recovery information so that this is less
    likely to happen in the future. I hate to be "that guy" but situations like this are exactly why we all need to keep the information in our accounts up to date.
