Unable to load You Tube videos the past 2 days

Is anyone else experiencing the same problems?

I can see the search results but unable to play any of them,

the videos have to be less than 60 seconds long elite premium members

or less than 30 seconds non premium members before they up load to you tube

Sorry to hear about the issues with the Youtube Application. When you say "Unable to load You Tube videos" What do you mean?

• Are the Youtube videos just not starting and you see black?
• Are the Youtube videos saying something like "Sorry, YouTube isn't available right now. Please try again later. For more information, go to the status page"
  If you do see this error, you can check out the
  Live Status page and look for the YouTube application, but if this isn't it, just use this for future reference.
  
• Are you seeing "Sorry, this video cannot be played" or "Sorry, but we cannot display the item you requested to view"
  

If you see one of these messages in the third bullet point, wait for exactly one minute. Then, try to play the content you see in the search results. If you continue to see anything related to these messages or an error, return to the previous menu from
your search results and select a different piece of content to watch.

Also when there is any issues with the applications with YouTube you can reach the
YouTube Help.

Now if any of this isn't really getting to the bottom of the issue, i'd recommend deleting and re installing your YouTube application.

Let me know the answer to the questions I've used bullet points on once you've returned, and let me know how the troubleshooting steps I've given you work out.

 

This has been the same issue for me the past few days. Youtube loads and I can see my video options, but when I select a video it just goes black with a spinning-loading thing in the middle of the screen. I've uninstall and reinstalled with no improvement.
I tested my upload and download speeds and they exceed the minimal requirements. No other app is having issues. Any additional recommendations?

Ok, so I guess something did work because my daughter is watching "Frozen" clips now. So this is what I did ON MY XBOX ONE: I first tested my connection speed by following the steps from "Issues with connection speed or disconnects", which will pop up if
you do a search. I received no issues and my upload and download speeds were well above the recommended (the criteria is given to you in the mentioned link). Next, I went under "Games and Apps". I pressed start when I was on Youtube and went to Manage,
Uninstall all (Only Youtube should be visible during this step), then select uninstall. Wait a few minutes then I would suggest shutting down your Xbox and then restarting. Re-install the Youtube app and it should work. Search this if you need help for
uninstalling steps, "Uninstall Xbox One games or apps to free hard drive space"
