unable to load last saved data have to play offline

Anyone seeing this? Just came home for lunch to play a smidge and I got that error. Did a hard reset and same thing. It loads my last save, but offline only....I can see that being a snag at some point, so thought I woudl see if anyone else was seeing this

Couple things I would try.

1. Do a hard reset of the Xbox and see if that works

Or

2. Set the Xbox to Offline, restart and set it back online.

 

I had this earlier and a hard reset fixed it

Are you completely offline with no store/FL or does it mean no access to the cloud?

 

I assume no access to cloud. My box is still online and signed into live even. I came home from work and same thing. it's accessing it offline ok, but I am afraid if it links back up it might overwrite or something...

 

I don't cloud save but for w/e reason it occasionally tries to sync my saves, which are all local - Did it early today before I did the hard reset after watching the nifty camera roll through the workshop forever

I think you're good as far as moving forward and saving your game

 

I had the same issue until I followed Fresh Kills advice. A hard reset fixed the problem.

 

Seems to be a problem that several of us have been having the past few days with all games. Here's a link to a thread discussing it. If you're like me the Hard Reset, etc. hasn't worked and on the last page Woodstock posts a solution to try.

No need to disable instant sign in, just make sure once you've restarted the Xbox you then sign out (if you have instant sign in) before you go back online.

1.Go to settings, then network and go to offline mode

2.Restart console via snap menu

3.Sign out of any profiles (if instant sign-in is on)

4.Go to settings, then network and go back to online mode

5.Open a game

6.Let the game force you to sign in to your profile

7.Should be all fixed, enjoy

 

I also had this problem, but added to it, my profile seems to be messed up as well and it shows I have no friends and 0 gamerscore. Anyone else have this added issue?
