Unable to launch XBOX 360 games in XBOX ONE Console

I downloaded few XBOX 360 games(Backward Compatible) using my Gold member ship in my XBOX ONE Console. But unable to launch them. I see message saying 'downloading your XBOX 360 profile" and then a pop up asking me to sign in (I've already signed in my XBOX
ONE console)

I am able to launch all XBOX ONE games, But not XBOX 360 games.

Please let me know a solution for this. Thanks!

Selling your preorder

Made thousands at the launch of the xbox 360, must have sold 30 consoles at stupid prices. Had my Xbox One order mucked up and don't have one. Karma is indeed a bitch.

xbox1 gets a performance boost

the xbox 360 gpu was top of the line when it launched in 2005. the xbox original geforce 3 was also impressive when it launched

the next gen consoles will be fine for a few years, but given games are already often only hitting 30fps i worry for the long termClick to expand...

+1 The xbox one should of had at least around a 7870 for 1080p not much to ask on a £400 plus console that should normally cost more to make than is sold at launch...
Also I don't think anyone was thinking the gpu would be so cutting edge to make the console worth a grand....

Hey there -

Does this happen with all your backward compatible game titles or only specific ones? And which games, specifically, are you running into issues with? First thing to try will be clearing your Xbox 360 local storage from your Xbox One console. Starting from
your Xbox One home dashboard:

*Open the Guide menu

*Scroll down to Settings

*Select 'All Settings'

*Navigate over to 'Storage'

*Select 'Clear local Xbox 360 storage'

Give that a shot and let us know if you continue to experience issues.

Mind clarifying for us the error that you are encountering when you try to launch this game on your console? Could you upload a picture of the error that you are encountering so we can further look into this? Also, are you currently trying to launch this
game on the Xbox 360 or the Xbox One console?

In the meantime, if you are encountering this issue on the Xbox 360 console, we'd recommend

clearing the cache and then test launching this game.

Xbox 360 games do not appear to see these users and I'm unable to select them when adding players to 360-games.

User accounts work differently on the 360 (and the 360 emulator on the Xbox One and Series X/S) to the way they do on Xbox One and Series X/S. The 360 had user profiles that needed to be downloaded first.

It's been a while so you'll need to bear with me. If remember you will need to sign in first with this other user you've created, then launch the 360 game. This will download the additional new profile to the console. I think, after this you should be able
to add this player to your game.

Online multiplayer content on any Xbox console (Original, Xbox 360, Xbox One) requires Xbox Live Gold. Always has. Yes, it had Games With Gold added in July 2013, nearly seven years after the console launched and 11 years after Xbox Live launched.

It's always the same when a new console launches.360 games were much more expensive at launch but the price dropped after a while,it'll probably be the same for the xbox one.
