Unable to Launch Portal 2

I downloaded Portal 2 yesterday onto my Xbox, and I'm unable to launch it on my main profile. However, if I launch it on another profile, it works fine.

This is a problem, as I'm wanting to play the Co-Op, however I'm unable to if I have to log in on another profile that doesn't have Gold.

Portal 2 unable to purchase

Tried to purchase Portal 2 and it said bundle only after clicking that it said we cannot find this item. I also tried to purchase it from the xbox live website and it also said bundle only and clicking sent me to the bottom of the page, opening in a new
tab did the same. Called xbox support and they seemed stumped with it as well and told me to post here. Not used to using forums for this or why they wanted me to post here but, here you go.

Really craving to play this again please fix soon.

Portal 2 unable to purchase

Optical Sniper: I won't even let me choose a payment option or go to the checkout screen

 

Which of the profiles did you use to purchase the content, and was it on another 360?

*If* you used the non-Gold account to buy it and first downloaded it on another console, go to the other console and your Gold account would be able to play there.

 

It was on the same console, and it was on a separate Gold account.

 

You would have to play the game on the account you bought it on, your other account is not recognised as "owning" the game, so it would not be able to launch.

 

Actually if your'e on the same xbox the game was bought on, then any profile can play the game, offline or online. It could just be a licensing issue, try redownloading the game, that may help.
