    Report: Xbox one is unable to launch apps, games, stream, profile, setting, etc. Only able to idle at the Xbox one dashboard.

    Unable to Launch almost everything, Apps, Games, Networking settings, etc.

    Try doing a hard reset on the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.
    Once it is back up and operational test for results. If that doesn't work you may need to post in the preview forums for assistance. Good Luck!

    xbox live shows issues right now but you can try the following......

    log out of your profile , then right back in....if that dosent work , try this below.....

    go into settings and accounts and remove all the profiles , (make sure you have the email and password to get them back ) after you remove the profiles , shut the xbox down by holding the xbox logo on the console for 8 seconds till it powers down , while
    it is off , unplug your modem and router for 30 seconds to clear them also , plug the modem and router back up and when they are online , turn the xbox back on , when it is all the way up , re add your main profile ...it may sit there and sync a little while
    but all SHOULD be good afterwards ...

    There's no need to remove the profiles. It's an extra step that is not actually required.

    Please do the power cycle by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. The issue you're describing is usually related to a full cache and the power cycle will clear it.

  6. I disagree on removing the profiles , many , MANY times this is required when all other stuff fails , profiles get corrupted , always have , probably always will....

    I disagree on removing the profiles , many , MANY times this is required when all other stuff fails , profiles get corrupted , always have , probably always will....
