  1. Unable to Launch Game


    Not sure if this is the correct forum, but here goes. A little over a year ago, I bought a used Xbox One off eBay. It was an Xbox with Master Chief Collection bundle. I had been able to play MCC consistently and without issue with my account on-and-off-line.
    Last month, I went to launch the game, having not played for about a month. My Xbox gave me the error message that says "Please insert game or sign in." Since the game was already installed digitally, I couldn't insert a disc for it. I tried restarting my
    system and logging on and off again. Eventually I decided to try and uninstall and reinstall the game. When I was about to uninstall, it said I would be able to reinstall at any time. When I went to reinstall, the only option I had was to purchase it. Somehow
    the Microsoft Store acts like I had never had the game before. Can anyone help me out? Is there anything Microsoft can do or do I just have to buy the game myself?

    I am unable to get into Rocket League and Fortnite Battle Royale. They start to load in but never fully launch and I cannot play the games.

    Hi. Please press and hold the power button on your console for 10 seconds to do a hard reset. Turn the console on and try again.

    If that didn't work please navigate to the game under my games and apps and press the menu button and scroll down to saved data and select to delete all saved data. Your saved data will sync from the cloud once you open the game again

    If you did not redeem a code for the game, then that means the original owner had installed the game and left the console as their Home console so you would have had access to it. If they changed their Home setting, you no longer have access to the game. You
    would need to purchase it in order to continue playing it.
