Unable to launch AoE 4 on PC via Xbox Game Pass

It's an issue on the Xbox network that is affecting players' ability to open games. Xbox has already confirmed the issue and is investigating and should resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Thank you, this is what I thought, however Xbox Support via live chat confirmed to me that this is not on PC game pass which is why I am unable to download it from the store for free. They said the game is only available "discounted" on Game Pass for PC. Which is not what my screenshots indicate and is false advertising.

If they are play anywhere games then you would be able to play them on console too. But for the most games you need the game pass ultimate. Also there are games like AoE which are only on pc.

the only thing I could imagine is, (and would be interesting to know) that maybe beta doesn't use the latest XBOX services?? So you could test if the 4 XBOX services and the gaming service will be replaced (via the Store app Updates) after the installation/deinstallation!

Because I also use the beta and have no problems (but I do not playing via steam except Civilization, normally via XBOX Horizon 4 and AoE HD)

Exactly the same think, it says "PLAY Installed" but as soon as you click on it, the loading screen pops up and disappears...shocking incompetency by Microsoft to not even have an error reporting button or anything to resolve this.....you are just left with NOTHING to help!
