Unable to launch any of my games.

Fortnite doesn't even leave me. It takes me back to the home screen after trying to start it

Thank you for reaching out to Xbox forums. Considering all the troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far the next thing to try would be Soft Factory reset [DO NOT KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS]

If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
reset on your console by doing the following:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console. [DO NOT KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS]

Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything.. that is the option we want to go with this time. You'll need to reinstall all your games / apps afterwards.

Hey there Losoboat,

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this inconvenience not being able to launch anything.

I would say that if you haven't already, at this point you might want to try a soft reset.
It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games
&
apps.

Make sure that your signing into the console with the account that owns the game and your connected too xbox live. Then try power cycle the console
