Unable to Join Xbox Party Chat Since Last Update

Please update privacy settings. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy & online safety > Xbox Live privacy and ensure that your settings allow for communication.

Next is Enable UPnP. Your Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) should be enabled on your router. This feature helps manage port forwarding automatically, which can help with NAT issues. You can usually find this setting in the router's web interface under Advanced Settings.

And then check NAT Type. Make sure that your NAT type is set to "Open." To check this, kindly go to Settings > Network > Network settings > Test NAT type.

If it's not "Open," you may need to enable UPnP or manually forward the necessary ports on your router.

Here are the list of the ports that needs to be open:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.
Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

nowt wrong with party chat, i joined a party last night.

We did all that and still unable to join each other. We can only join each other in party chat.

Yup same here they need to fix it asap
