    For a few weeks now i have been unable to join my friend. Even though i can't join my friend, he seems to have no issue joining me. We have tried different things but none seem to work.

    join a platoon on battlelog. Its full of platoons recruiting. You will then have about 40 - 200 people to chat with when youre on the Battlefield.

    most likely due to strict NAT issues.

    I never had a problem until I had to change my connected IP from my xbox which gives my ethernet a strict NAT for some reason. When that happens I sometimes can't connect to people's platoons or parties unless there is someone else hosting it.

    When i see that i have strict NAT, i turn my modem off for 30 seconds so I'll have an open NAT, but even after that, i still am unable to join him.

    Speaking of battelog and joining a platoon, is there anything I missed? I find it incredibly hard to find platoons if you don't already have a foot in the door, as you have to type the platoon name into it rather than just browse.

    I mean of course there's browsing their forums and joining platoons that way but still. I think it'd be more of a strain for non-techy people to find a platoon.
