Unable to join party because on another device.

Hello, I am unable to join a party on console as it appears I am stuck in a party on your servers. I have been on chat with your online chat numerous times and no one seems to know how to fix this. Ive tried about 20 different steps which I know are pointless.

I need help with this ASAP as I'm getting very bored of not being to speak to anyone.

Not happy about the poxy things they had me doing on chat, I know you have to start from the bottom but implying I'm stupid isn't the best way to go about it.

Some help would be superb. With someone who has access to the right things and knows what to do

Already in a party,but I'm not...

I can't start or join parties because it says I'm already in a party on another device,but I am definitely not in a party on another device.

I have tried 2 different Xboxes (and hard resetting them) and the Xbox app on my PC,none of them let me start or join a party.I had some friends join the party that I was apparently in,but it just said that the ghost-me was constantly connecting.

Is there anything I can do to remove myself from this ghost party?It is really irritating not being able to chat to my friends.

My son is trying to join a party and it says... You are unable to join because this party is playing with user-generated content and someone in your party is restricted from playing with user-generated content.... Help us out

 

I'm so sorry to hear about your frustration, MongleBean! What version of the app are you using? Also, if you can submit feedback through the app we'll be happy to get on tracking this.

I have tried adding feed back but cannot get on the account now as its picking up my windows email and not allowing me to sign in as getting error code 0x409 but that's another problem , I just created new user using xbox account.

I just don't know whats happening tbh, nothing I did on chat helped at all, its broke my xbox if anything cannot double press xbox button and save screen shot or record that anymore

Fixed it I had to create a new user on my windows, but now it works. I created new user using my xbox live email. then as I signed in the party had disappeared from my profile on the app, then went onto xbox and started party then it worked... So now
I have two user when I don't need to but least my xbox now works just have to wait for new update so I can go back onto my original user.

Pretty bad how Ive spent over 10 hours with the chat and they don't even have a clue.
