Unable to Join game sessions with two Xbox Ones on the same Network

Hello! My roommates and I are having the same exact as above. We have tried the above steps, and similar to the aforementioned... we all work in IT / Cyber so we have tried the normal fixes. I have tried some searches but it doesn't seem like there is much
of a solution. Any ideas on how to get this to work?

All our NAT types are set to open. We are all connected to the same internet. All the above mentioned comments apply to us as well. We're really hoping to be able to play together.

I am playing COD Modern Warfare, and for the life of me I can not figure out why my brother and I can not play online together. The only way we can play online if there is a 3rd person at their house that adds us to their game. So in total, there are 3
people in the game.

-We can, however, join each other's party.

- We can not join each other's games

-We can not invite each other to online games.

I have looked everywhere on this site. Please help.

Don't tell to check the internet, mesh systems, wired versus wireless...

Both have the game.

Both have Xbox live.

Both have been updated.

What is the problem?

I used to have this problem sporadically on both Xbox 360, and the Xbox One since we have always had multiple Xbox consoles in the house. It's usually due to NAT settings, and both of you not being set to "Open".

You can check your NAT settings by going to your Network Settings on your console, it should state your NAT Type on the right hand side of the screen. If both, or either of you aren't set to Open, then you'll need to open some ports via "Port Forwarding",

Are you able to see what you NAT type is in game?

I've had the same issue for a couple months..

So-n-so is online and joinable ......... join session in progress ...... unable to join session.
