    Unable to join game session in Forza 5


    So I recently got Forza 5 and was attempting to play multiplayer when the error message "unable to join game session" appeared. I tried many times and was invited to different games by different people, still with no luck. I have a xbox live gold membership
    and all my other games work fine online like call of duty ghosts or killer instinct. Please help

    Hi Tokiwon Blunt,

    Can you try a connection test on your Xbox One? Do you get any errors? If so can you post back and also follow the troubleshooting steps
    here? If it is a strict or moderate NAT issue, see
    here.

    Bear in mind this may also be an issue on the end of the person you're attempting to connect to.

    Owned this game since day one I can't play multiplayer. I have comcast is there some fix for this id realy like to know if it's my xbox one or my game?

    Hey Tokiwon,

    Sorry to hear you're having issues playing Forza Online.

    What exactly is happening when you try to play a match online? Are you getting an error message or code?

    Have you tried running a Multiplayer Connection test on your console?

    Please let us know and we'll work from there.

    No I have tried everything is fine. I can rent moves download whatever I want I even played round of killer instinct online no problem but Forza won't let me in a session it's annoying because it's the only game I own.

    Hi,

    There is another thread about users using aternate mac addresses and not being able to connect to online games(they can still connect to netflix,i.e etc.).

    Do you use an alternate mac address?

    Have you tried connecting with an ethernet cable?

    Theres a section in settings that lets you test your mp connection. Have you tried that?

    Im no expert on these things mate but hopefully someone more 'techy' can help!
