    Unable to join friends party or game


    I haven't been able to join my friends xbox live party or join his game (that hes hosting). The only way to talk is have another person host a party and invite us both. When I try to join his game it says (on Call of Duty) Unable to join session. People
    have said to delete your cache and restart your router and modem but none of its working. I reset my DNS setting and also my IP settings but its still not connecting to him. My NAT always says open. A strange thing rarely happen when I join my other friends
    minecraft game he will lose connection to the game and I would join, but that is rare. If anyone has any other ideas please tell me.

    Okay, I'll search on how to do that but would a non-static ip cause a player to be able to connect to xbox live and play games but not to be able to join friends? I'm trying to help my brother who is 800 miles away fix his issues with connecting and playing
    games with friends. He has no NAT warnings, his ports are open etc. However, his IP does keep changing but he's still able to connect to Live. Can ya tell I'm not an Xbox guru? lol

    Friend has an open nat as well, and I've tried wired and wireless. I can still connect to Xbox live and play online I just can't join party or games with a friend

    I have a similar--- but more different problem... I can connect to xbox live, but I cant connect to any parties or sessions of my friends, and they cant connect to any of mine either. I thought this problem might go away with time, but it's almost been a
    week and I am still having this problem. Again, I am already connected to Xbox live. I just don't understand what is going on and it is really beginning to frustrate me. What do I do?

    They also do recommend that if the wireless isnt working to use a wired connection to see if that helps as well
