Unable to join friends Minecraft world

This happened to us yesterday. I left the game and when I wanted to join again 5 minutes later I got the message 'Unable to connect to world.'. My friend was hosting her world on Xbox One with Minecraft v1.12.0, and I have the same version. Another friend
was also playing in that world from his pc and he didn't have any problems. Everything seemed fine besides that I couldn't join anymore. So then another friend tried to join as test but she couldn't join them either. We did some further testing and I could
join that last friend's world and she could join mine, and I could join the world of yet another friend, but no one was able to join the game I left.

The friend hosting the game didn't do anything besides playing the game. I had left a few times before and could always join again.

I wish the game would give more information beyond 'Unable to connect to world.'.

So you come to official support channels for support with mods? Try elsewhere - like the people who made the mod for example.

A little clarity, are you having issues with content packs from the Minecraft store or non official mods?

If the issue is with content purchased from the Minecraft store do both you and your friend have the same content packs?

the microsoft store. with minecoins.. only one person has the mods and its the host.. i thought you can share the mods in the same household lan play or something. it used to work before. before the update, i could play the furniture mod with my brother,
but now i cant play it anymore.

Before attempting the troubleshooting steps I include below, please confirm if either account is a child account. If so, the multiplayer account settings may need to be adjusted.

If this is not the case, please view: Minecraft Multiplayer Connectivity Issues and contact Minecraft Support if the error continues even after troubleshooting.
