Unable to join friend’s game through xbox side bar

Im unable to join all of my friends game session, and they are all in public sessions, as seen from the attachment below, the “join game” option is greyed out.

I have done a soft reset on my xbox, power cycled it as well, its still the same problem.

i also tested my Nat type and it states that it is open and there is not error at all

meanwhile my friend told me that his “join game” option is not greyed out and able to join my game.

i reckon this is an account issue?

any help would be appreciated

Hi, my NAT is open, and there is no error. It says all services are available

First start by checking your NAT status under Settings, General -> Network settings. NAT should be Open (at a minimum Moderated). Sometimes one needs to run Test NAT Type at the bottom of the menu to get the UPnP to set up correctly.

Let us know the results and we can work from there.

f you are experiencing issues with joining or creating a session with your friends, here is a list of things you can try:

clear the cache of the Xbox One system on
all consoles you want to create a session with (that means your friends should also clear the cache at their end in order for the fix to work);
check your ports and NAT
settings - Dying Light is a very NAT-sensitive game;
if you have your Internet router set to IPV6, try changing it to IPV4;
note that it may be difficult for your console to connect to a Dying Light co-op session twice from the same source (e.g. in the same house/within the same network type). Only one console can connect from a network at a time. However,
you can search the Internet for articles on how to set up a DMZ for Xbox One, which may solve the issue at your end.

If none of the above points seem to work, we would like to recommend the latest workaround that has been confirmed to work for a number of users with co-op issues on Xbox One:

The Companion App isn't the best tool to use to join or make parties with other PC and Xbox users now.

You should try using Game Bar instead. Just press the Windows key and tap G to access the Game Bar.

Hello again and thanks for the commitment to help me through this.

Unfortunately, creating a brand new account and attempting to use Xbox Game Bar (after making sure Xbox and Game Bar itself were installed too) ended up in me getting the very same issue on that option and on top of this, I'm unable to even access the in-Bar Xbox Game Bar Settings through the in-Bar wheel icon.
Elaborating through, I crossed the thought of whether there's any Administrator permission I could attempt to give to Xbox Game Bar through my main Admin account in some way you may know of.. Let me know.
