Unable to join Forza Horizon 3 online sessions with no error message(pc)

Hello. After what you suggested we are still on able to get online. It is not just Forza horizon 4 for it is Forza horizon 3 as well. This is the error

Sorry to hear about the multiplayer connectivity issues with Forza Horizon 3. I am hopeful that we may be off the right foot with the solution before so we can get you back to gaming

First off a couple items of clarification.

1) Forza Horizon 3 is a legacy title and support for the game has come to an end. This doesn't mean that we cant help troubleshoot what may be going on but it does mean that the Studio development can not allocate resources for creating solutions when it comes directly to the game.

2) Game services for Forza Horizon 3 and 4 are still fully operational and live. The servers are not retired and we have an active player base in them right now. The Xbox Network is also showing a clean bill of health so nothing popping up there.

3) From my understanding analyzing the several posts that are out there. This isn't directly an issue with the game or Windows (10 or 11) but instead the connectivity parameters that specifically are for Forza Horizon 3 or 4. This points me in the direction of Teredo being a culprit or something manipulating the Teredo settings as these games were among the few that used Teredo specifically for Xbox Network Connectivity.

4) The Teredo settings themselves are unknowingly changed in several ways.

• First by your home network, namely your router setting a DMZ or Firewall that blocks a Teredo connection. Not much we can do there except direct you to your routers support page to look up Teredo related items.
  
• Second is by third party applications that can manipulate your registry settings. This list is huge, so huge I cant even image how to start compiling them. However, the steps below have just been recently tested for both Windows 10 and 11 to double check everything and to reset said connection to see if it helps. Let me know if it does and we can go from there.
  

1. Check the iphlpsvc registry path:
   
   - Press the search box on the taskbar, type cmd, and then open the Command prompt.
   
   - Run the following command from the Admin command prompt:
   
   reg query HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\iphlpsvc\Teredo
   
   - If the output includes the following line, Teredo has been disabled type
   
   REG_DWORD 0x4
   
   - You can re-enable Teredo by running the following command from the Admin command prompt:
   
   netsh interface Teredo set state type=default
   
   
   
2. Check the TcpIp6 registry path:
   
   - In the search box on the taskbar, type cmd, and then open the Command prompt.
   
   - Run the following command from the Admin command prompt:
   
   reg query HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\TcpIp6\Parameters
   
   - If the output includes the following line, and the value displayed is not 0x0, Teredo may have been disabled:
   
   DisabledComponents REG_DWORD 0x8e
   
   - You can re-enable Teredo by running the following command from the Admin command prompt:
   
   reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters /v DisabledComponents /t REG_DWORD /d 0x0
   
   
   
3. Restart the IP Helper Service after making any of the above registry changes for the new settings to take effect:
   
   - In the search box on the taskbar, type cmd, and then open the Command prompt.
   
   - Run the following command from the Admin command prompt:
   
   sc stop iphlpsvc
   
   - Immediately Run the following command from the same command prompt:
   
   sc start iphlpsvc
   

While some apps set these registry values to disable Teredo when the app is installed, others set them every time the app starts. If your PC has one of these apps installed, make sure you have the most up-to-date version, or see their support documentation to learn how to enable Teredo tunneling with their software.

Example -

* Asus Game First Service: Update to the latest version, or contact their support at:

As a workaround, you can also disable the service and re-enable Teredo with the following steps:

1. Select the search box on the taskbar, type cmd, and then select Command prompt.
   

1. Run the following commands from the Admin command prompt to disable the AsusGameFirstService, stop the AsusGameFirstService, and re-enable Teredo in the registry:
   

• sc config AsusGameFirstService start= disabled
  
• sc stop AsusGameFirstService
  
• reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip6\Parameters /v DisabledComponents /t REG_DWORD /d 0x0
  

Keep an eye if the registry settings change, that would mean that you have an app that "fixes" the connection by breaking it. A lot of applications do this to try and optimize the computers connection giving a boost to performance but in fact they break things such as an older games connection to multiplayer. Hope this helps and can get you back to gaming.

The only way we're getting this fixed is if someone mods the game to fix it. The devs don't care, they won't do it.

I tried the fixes still no luck

I was able to play online find on windows 10 before windows 11 came out. Im on windows 10 still and now have this issue. My brother plays on his xbox 1 find but on pc i have the issue.
