    Unable to invite party to game


    Hello Microsoft community. I have a issue with the app that I would like to resolve, as it would make my effort of searching for xbox gamertags much easier. The game im using in my scenario here is Destiny. Since I do not have a mic for my xbox console I
    use the app, which works wonders. I have no trouble inviting people to the party, I have trouble inviting my party into my fireteam. On the windows 10 app the option "Invite party to game" is not grayed out, so I am able of selecting the option. However when
    I click on it nothing happens. In Destiny, I sit alone in orbit and when I send out the invite via the party app no one in the party actually gets the invitation.

    If the community can help resolve my issue or point me in the general direction it would be highly appreciated!

    To clarify your concern, may we know if this issue occurs on all your games?

    In the meantime, we recommend running the Windows apps troubleshooter provided on this

    link    . This may help in resolving issues regarding digital contents downloaded from the Windows Store.

    If the same thing occurs, kindly visit this
    link     and follow the steps on how to check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store. Search if there are any updates available for the Xbox app.

    So this guy called me a [mod removed] and I reported him and he didn’t get banned but when I call him a [mod removed] I get a 4 day ban it’s not fair

    If they are unable to send messages, invite to parties or talk in a game.

    Is there an ETA on the repairs to this problem?

    unable to invite friends to games or party's

    not being able to receive invites

    join open games or party's

    hard to connect to friends

    joining server's for bf3, mw3 or any other online game

    Unable to receive game invites or party invites

    I am having the same issue. Contacted xbox support for fix and they told me trouble shoot LOL . You tube is more help. go to network / network settings/ advanced settings/ alternate mac address and have it restart. This worked for me. For now I have
    read it comes back and as of now Support had no other suggestions for me today

    Unable to receive game invites or party invites

    Have you checked your NAT type in the network settings? You may need to restart your router. Make sure you keep it turned off for 30 seconds before restarting. Once restarted, run the network and multiplayer tests in the network settings.
