Unable to install the september update

After downloading the september update, my xbox will not restart to install it. Instead, I just get a black screen with only the power button light on. I have to do a hard reset to get it back on in which it prompts me again to download the update. I'm stuck
in a continuous loop.

Nothing is working

Ever since the September update, I'm unable to install any games without it saying "Instillation Stopped" the second after I press install. I also can't play any games or use any apps. The only thing I can do is use Youtube. I've tried hard resets constant
times but the problem continues to occur. I've also noticed i'm not the only with this problem for there are other forums with the same thing happening to them.

I just don't get it, I'm guessing it has something to do with the xbox live alert that has been going on. But its very frustrating. I can appreciate the fact that they send out updates to improve the game, but we should be able to download them via computer
and then install them on our xbox if they are having issues

It sounds to me that you will have to perform the offline update on your console.

I found that and tried it already. It did not work for me. I also tried a factory restore which did not work either. I have to send the console in to be repaired. Thanks for the help though.
