Unable to install purchased game from Xbox.com

Hi,

I purchased Halo 3 on sale from the Xbox site however I can't see it in my xbox game library to install the game, I can only see the game on my xbox app on PC? I was under the impression that the game was for xbox hence the xbox.com site.

Is there anyway I can get this installed on my xbox?

This game is not playanywhere. If you purchased the PC version, request a refund using the link below and then purchase the Xbox version.

Regardless of the licensing policies, I doubt MS meant for people to be unable to purchase stand-alone DLC for their profile, which is currently the case. Since it cannot be purchased from the console, isn't available here (xbox.com market) and isn't transferrable,
there really is no resolution for someone that mistakenly installs FM5 content to the wrong profile.

Have you tried purchasing them from Xbox.com and then just going to Ready to Install in My Games and Apps?

Some back compat games & dlc cannot be purchased on the Xbox One, but if you purchase from xbox marketplace on xbox.com or xbox 360, then the dlc will show in ready to install of the manage game section. Just select it and start the install.
