    Unable to install purchased DLC on backwards compatible title


    I recently bought Persona 4 Arena as well as the Glasses Full Pack and Additional Colors Full Pack DLC. The game is backwards compatible with Xbox One, and when I install it and play it there aren't any issues. However, I am unable to install the DLC Packs
    as they do not show up in my ready to install list and are not able to find on the store. Both packs show up in my purchase history, but not in my ready to install or manage game sections. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

    xbox one backwards compatibility question

    I'm guessing the secondary disk that installs the DLC add ons would also need to be backwards compatible. Not much has been said about second disk installs for DLC. We do know add on DLC is being worked on so it does work with the backwards compatible titles.

    If the DLC you are trying to access was not purchased with the account you use for backwards compatibility titles you will not have access to that particular dlc.

    You should be able to buy DLC for any game you can play on your console. So if it's a backwards compatible title, you can still purchase the DLC as well.

    Hi Yeeterson,

    Thanks for contacting us on the forums. We understand trying to purchase a backward compatible game. Unfortunately, on the Xbox one you will need a credit/debit card or paypal. Account currency is unable to be used to make a purchase for backward compatible
    titles, unless you are on an Xbox 360.

    Yes. If the DLC is available in the game it should transfer over to the backwards compatible titles. It may take up to a day or two to appear in the Game's Ready to Install section
