Unable to install games on xbox windows

I am having trouble installing any game on my windows game bar (Xbox). When I try to install a game and offers me selected drives it states (0 Unknown Available) and does not let me select any other drive to install (I have internal and external). Upon trying to select a drive in the settings it does not react when I click on the down bar to select a drive. I have then checked my external drive for the appropriate files needed for download and I can confirm on my external hard drive I have the Windowsapp file. Last month I was able to install and uninstall games without issue until I attempted to play a game and I received an error message stating my drive could not be found, on assumption my external drive USB was loose I attempted to load another game from Steam saved on the same external drive and this loaded without issue. Trying to rectify the situation I uninstalled all games via xbox game bar and attempted to reinstall them and this is when I encountered the following issue stated above.

My attempts to fix the issue have been as follows :

1. Standard PC restart

2. Uninstall and Reinstall game bar app multiple times

3. Checked for all available updates on PC and carried out any outstanding

4. Attempt to trouble shoot xbox game bar apps.

manually checking for Windows 10 updates. The
Xbox (Beta) App needs to have the latest version of Windows 10 in order to be successfully installed. Be sure to let us know the results

So you're unable to uninstall the game? That sounds like a Windows issue, I'd suggest you check for and install any available updates to Windows and the game, then contact Windows Support if it still doesn't work.

It is either a windows error or Gaming services app error. This originated when I was unable to start my game and was redirected to install gaming services.
