Unable to install disk games past 2GB

I'm having a really strange issue with my Xbox One and i'm hoping someone can help me resolve this annoying and weird problem.

I purchased 2 brand new games, Fallout 4 and The Evill Within. They both have the same problem in that they won't install past 2GB. If i go into the game and apps section and watch the install process, they both stop and display "installation stopped" error
at exactly 2.00GB installed every time. No amount of restarting the install will make it go any further.

- Both games are brand new and don't have any scratches or smudges.

- The console is up to date and all apps are up to date.

- I have cleared the cache and done multiple hard resets.

- I tried installing the games online and offline.

- Tried installing online installing and without installing update.

- I have tried installing onto internal hard drive and external hard drive ( 359GB free on internal, 594GB free on external )

- I reset the console keeping games and apps & reset removing everything.

- I haven't had a chance to try the games on another console but the chance of both games being faulty in EXACTLY the same way is highly unlikely.

I am out of ideas as to what could be causing this issue and i'm really hoping someone has seen this as knows of a fix.

Oh ok. I know that the average game usually takes about 8 minutes per disk depending on the size so yeah that makes sense that it wouldnt be 2 hours. I got that confused with demo installs or game updates. If those are 2 gigs then its usually at least
an hour. (BF3 graphics update was 2gb and took over an hour). So it sounds like it will be about 45 minutes to an hour to install both disks for TW2.

 

Unable to delete 2GB game

hi just saying that is not clearing system cash this is: settings-system-hard drive-hover over HDD- hit Y- clear system cash

what i said was to remove the game update seeing if that would remove it

Hey coxyvs! Just to confirm, were the games new and sealed from a retailer or pre-owned? When you install the game to the internal are you doing so with the external disconnected? Additionally, have you taken the games to the retailer for an exchange at
all? Post back and let me know!

Both games were brand new in shrink film and still had the Xbox One sticker/seal in tact.

I did try with the external hard drive connected and disconnected with no change.

I haven't had a chance to take the games back for exchange yet, that was the next step, because they both behaved in exactly the same way when installing i wanted to exhaust every other possibility because i figured it was unlikely to be the games themselves,
i suppose anything is possible. It would be just my luck to get 2 faulty games haha
