Unable to install console games from mobile App

To finally solve mine I used the Windows troubleshooter to sync accounts. Xbox isn't listed but it will also sync. https://www.thewindowsclub.com/microsoft-accounts-troubleshooter is
a good tutorial.

One step better than using just the Windows troubleshooter is to

Windows+R "wsreset"

That cleared up my problem that was the same as yours. I also cleared out the cache on my android apps, both Xbox (beta) and Game Pass (beta).

No uninstalling, reinstalling. I am amazed at how often this is suggested as the first step. As if 10s of thousands had bad downloads. A bad download is not usually the cause of the problem. The problem is usually with cache or configurations. Often those
are left behind and still cause problems if not corrected.

Then after those steps all were happy.

It's never worked for me. I just kind of gave up on it.

Update: Not sure what happened but I recently installed a game in my Xbox and now the app is able to push installs.

This is the reason why I am inclined to believe that the problem is not in our smartphones but in some problems on the Microsoft side.

Yesterday, for example, I tried with two games The Division and Pes2020. PES was installed and the download started after about 2 minutes from when I launched from the app. The download of The Division did not start at all while in the app was in the download
queue.

I can't understand why it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't.

Tried all the things mentioned but still no dice.

I also just installed the xbox app for pc and I am running into the same issue with the Game Pass app not seeing my PC

Only thing i notice is that my account email vs xbox live email account has an uppercase Gmail vs lowercase gmail.

Would this be enough to be causing my issues?

make sure your console and your phone are connected to the internet. that might be the issue.
