Well, i "solved" it, i just had to reset Windows, which is not really a solution, but nothing short of that would do the trick, i talked to "support gamers chat" or whatever for hours which in the end did nothing for me.

Now i have to set up my whole computer again, i wholly expect to have lost a couple of old game projects in the process, thanks for nothing Microsoft.

I hope a real answer comes along at some point.
