Unable to go online with Watch Dogs

Today when I tried starting Watch Dogs I received an error message stating that it needed to be updated but "There was a problem with the update." Because of this I am unable to do anything in the game that requires an online connection. (This includes
simple stuff, like Check Ins.)

Last night I had no issues with the game, and I was playing other games earlier today online just fine. Anyone else having this problem?

I don't think you can go wrong with either. However, I must admit that I have not gone back to Wolfenstein since I started playing Watch Dogs. I'm a bit addicted to Watch Dogs, but I will go back to Wolf soon.

Already a thread on this, I have had the issue for the past hour or so. Really annoying and to be honest, it's pathetic problem to be having. Updates should never get in the way of playing launching a game and should only be offered and not made compulsory.

 

I am getting the same error message "There was a problem with your update". I am connected online and played other multiplayer games with NO problem. I get three options try again (doesn't work, and Check network connections (no issues there), and Cancel.
I unable to play the game. I bought the digital download version.

 

Same issue, can play a bit (not really into online stuff) but then the update message constantly interrupts. Where's the other thread?

 

I'm having the same problem over on my end. I have the digital download version and I am unable to update my game. :/ Can't really play now.

 

I can't update either and as a result can't play.

 

Yes, I am also having this issue, it doesn't look like there has been any word on how to get this fixed up yet though.
