    Our Xbox in the last 48 hours won't allow us to play games online. It comes up with a message "We were unable to get your latest saved data". This is true for Call of Duty Ghosts and FIFA 14". We have tested internet connection and it is fine and done a
    hard system re-boot. Any help would be fantastic. Thanks.

    Syncing data!

    The issue is still there,

    I receive "we were unable to get your latest saved data" so no games work.

    I've just logged on to my Xbox today and for every game it says that it is unable to get my latest saved data. I have done a reset of the console and removed my account and got it back again but it is still happening.

    Just to understand the problem: are you only unable to play online multiplayer games or are you not able to synchronize your games with the cloud? If it's the first case: your are displayed here as being on a silver membership but you need a gold subscription
    to use online multiplayer features.

  5. It is my sone and he is a gold member. We can't play online multi player games and get the error I described when we try. It was working fine until a couple of days ago.

    Ah ok. Just got confused by that Unable to get your latest saved data ;)

    Please try to do a system cache reset then. Hold the powerbutton for about 15 seconds and keep it holding even when the one turns off after some seconds. Wait for the power supply to change the color to orange and then restart the console.

    If that doesn't fix the issue please have the account removed from the console and then download it again.

    If even that fails please feel free to come back for further assistance.

  7. Reset didn't work. There are multiple accounts on the Xbox and none are working. Shall we remove them all? Will we lose data or will they just be re-created?

    Try at least with one of them. The local game installs and dlcs will not be affected. The savegames are stored in the cloud and that's where we try to sync them from.

  9. Okay deleted it and tried to sign back in. Got to setting page and set background colours and clicked next. Now got the circular timer going round and round for past 20 mins. I assume it is downloading the data. Correct? If so how long does it normally take
    (we have fast internet)?

    This should really be done lots faster, as only the basic profile information is downloaded. The game data is being downloaded not before starting the specific game.

    So this really looks like a connection issue even if the tests tell something different.

    Have you tried to restart your router / modem already? If not please do so.

  11. That would explain it, but everything looks okay.

    Yes broadband router has been reset.

    He is logged into Xbox Live, but it suggests that he is not connected to Xbox live before we get the error messages.

    Just did a quick research in the forums on your issue as I had in mind that there were some similar problems lately but unfortunately I have not found them.

    So I am pretty sri that I cannot provide you more help right now as pointing you to the official support for further assistance as you tried all steps I could assist you with. Please go to
    support.xbox.com/contact-us for contact information and contact them by phone or chat. Tell them what you already have tried on my advice.

    It would be very kind of you could provide me with some feedback if and how your problem is solved.

    And please don't worry about the removed account, it is not lost as it is of course still stored in the cloud.

    a fix for this issue is restarting your modum/router as i just had this issue, It's just a matter of not being able to get saves from your cloud. Weak internet connection i guess.

    As this has happened to me also along with a bunch of ppl on the forums, I'm pretty sure it's not a router/modem issue, considering that it all happened for all of us, sometime this morning. I contacted Xbox Support, and they had me run through the normal
    checklist as they always do when you have a problem, reset, change something, reset, etc.... Nothing solved the problem. And I don't mean to call them out on bad service, but they told me to go here to the forums. That isn't very professional in my opinion.
    But alas, it seems that they're either unaware of the problem or have no idea how to fix it.

    I'm having the same issues. Accepted the latest NXOE last night and when I got back online I was having the "save data" sync issues. I deleted my profile and did a hard reset. When I got back online it said that I have no friends and zero gamerscore.
    My background was reset and my xbox console colors as well. Every game I try to play just says it cannot retrieve my data. If I select "use offline" it works but one of my games lost all save content. I believe the game was Kickbeat. I select "use offline"
    but my entire game save is reset. I tried a few other games like GTA and Warframe and selected "use offline". The save content is still there for those games. When I go to manage storage not one of my games shows a game save on the console. It shows "reserved
    space", but no actual game save. The game saves were there before the latest NXOE update I took last night. I did not try factory resetting my console just yet. I have a few friends with the same issues that I am having right now. Every app and game just
    does not want to sync the data.
