    Unable to get Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One


    I've been trying to get Assassin's Creed Revelations with games with gold on my Xbox One. I can get Xbox One games on games with gold, but when I try to get Assassin's Creed Revelations, it doesn't work. This is the same for all Xbox 360 games with gold
    titles. When I try to download the game it says: "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete this transaction from your Xbox." Even though I am not on Xbox.com, I am on my Xbox One. Then I tried to get it from Xbox.com,
    but the same message showed up. I don't have a Xbox 360, so maybe that has something to do with it? Please help!

    Cannot purchase "free" 360 games on Xbox one or Xbox.com

    It has always been like that not unless there will be an update regarding in redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on the website. Xbox 360 marketplace has a different structure than on Xbox One Store. Xbox 360 games with gold on the website will need a payment
    method. In Xbox 360 console, you won't need one. Currently, you can't redeem Xbox 360 games with gold using Xbox One console and still under progress about redeeming Xbox 360 games with gold on Xbox One console. Either get the games using an Xbox 360 console,
    or get the games on the website with a payment method.

    Backwards compatibility games wont download

    I try to download the latest 360 game for gold on my xbox one but It cane up with an error saying unable to download

    If you have a friend who has a 360 you can redeem it from there. There's no way to get a code for the games.

    Can't purchase free gold game. Your account is unable to make this type of purchase

    There seems to be no solution to this problem if a child account is the one with Xbox Live Gold and you don't have an Xbox 360.

    The parent account does not have the ability to get the Xbox Live Gold game for free.

    The child account gets the message "Your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com".

    "Free" games require a payment option

    PayPal does not work for xbox 360 games with gold. I don't even have a credit card so unable to get those advertised games.
