    Unable to get TV to show on Xbox one.


    When I tried for the first time, the TV showed for a sec or two, then "The HD Content Protection of your Repeater has been compromised. All devices connected to the repeater will not be authorized to receive video over the digital link"
    showed in blue over the TV, then the TV just went to Black.

    I am using Frontier, and have the HDMI Cable going directory from the Frontier Cable box to the Xbox One, then out of the xbox one to my receiver.

    I have heard of this issue before. But mostly when they have another piece of equipment between the cable box and the xbox one which I do not.

    I need proof that it's ok to play movies on xbox. My mother won't let me watch movies on my xbox 360.

    No worries, both the 360 and the Xbox One can play movie discs.

    The 360 is unable to play Blu Ray but does handle movie discs with no problems.

    The Xbox One can play both regular and Blu Ray discs.

    If your mother requires proof that movies can be played on the console you just need to show her the Movie and TV app on the console.

    this pops up sometime dues to HDCP restrictions that don't allow other devices between the cable box and the TV. I have heard of this being a problem with Frontier and several people have said that contacting them and asking for an unrestricted box (explaining
    why you need it) seems to be a good first suggestion!

    Try contacting the service provider about this issue and either try getting a refund or your tv shows that you are currently unable to view working again. Hope your situation gets resolved and sorted for you soon.
