Unable to get super meat boy do to internet issues

My internet was not working properly till tonight and I was unable to get the game during the free period. I assumed it was impossible to get the free games from a web browser, because it didn't work when I tried through the xbox e-mail on my phone. The
link for the game would never change from the "get xbox live" login link even after I logged in. It would have me just login over and over again.

I know the sale is over, but could I please have Super Meat Boy added to my account. This is the first time I am asking for something like this to be done. This is a game I was really excited about and am very disappointed that I was unable to get it.

I was able log in to my xbox earlier this week and try, but the connection was too unstable to do anything.

The support department sent me here.

Cannot Download Super Meat Boy

I was able to get around this by purchasing it straight from the store

Which of these arcade games should I get?

Peggle or Super Meat Boy .

 

Sorry, but once a promotion is over there is no way to get the promotional deal unless it goes on sale/free again.

 

Thanks for the response SMWUTCHES and Mister mascot. I know how the promotions work, but I was trying to reach the promotional staff with my request. They don't have a direct line except through the forum according to Microsoft customer support. I want to
speak with a Microsoft employee. I have a request not a question.

 

Mister Mascot is an official support member. They cannot chenge the prices of games after promotions end.

As to the request, unfortunately we wouldn't be able to do something like that. You would need to purchase the game at it's current price in order to obtain the game. You can also keep up to date on the latest sales and promotions for current and future

news.xbox.com
